Three Reasons Why a Family Can’t Get Rich, Don’t Ignore Them

Lev Tolstoy once said: “Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.”

Lev Tolstoy once said: “Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.”

Money may not be everything, but it’s definitely essential. A family’s happiness often relates to material wealth. As the saying goes, “poverty lasts for three generations, wealth lasts for three generations.”

A good life is built through hard work. If a family can’t get rich, it’s likely due to these three reasons. Don’t overlook them.

Children Not Ambitious: Education is key.

The saying “Even if poor, never be poor in education” emphasizes the importance of educating children. A strong youth leads to a strong nation. Children are a country’s hope.

In family life, the success of children brings honor to the whole family. If children lack ambition and just rely on their parents, no matter how much wealth the family has, it will eventually be squandered.

I used to live near a family like this. They only had one grandson, so they doted on him excessively. They never let him come home from school alone. Even in middle school, his grandparents carried his school bag for him.

The boy was rebellious from a young age, causing his family much worry. Once, he got into trouble at school, and his grandparents were anxious every day, fearing for his well-being.

Many times, I heard his grandmother talk about their situation with a heavy heart. The most memorable thing she said was:

“We only have this one grandson. We’ve pampered him since he was little, making sure he never lacks anything. We love him so much that we can’t bear to scold or discipline him. But being overly indulgent will only harm him in the future. We’re getting old now and can only hope for the best. There’s not much we can do. We live in constant fear of him getting hurt outside. At my age, sometimes I feel helpless.”

After saying this, she sighed deeply.

As the saying goes, every family has its own challenges. Children’s education is a crucial part of family life. Hoping for children to succeed is every parent’s wish. If children thrive, parents feel proud; if not, a family can fall apart.

Family Discord

As the saying goes, “Harmony in the family leads to prosperity.”

A happy and harmonious family is a joyful one. Constant quarrels only lead to unhappiness.

Respecting and caring for parents is a fundamental duty, as filial piety comes first.

In reality, a family’s happiness cannot be solely measured by material possessions. Family harmony is a key indicator of family happiness.

Today, many families are torn apart by minor conflicts. Sometimes, they even sever ties. But in the end, such actions only lead to regret.

Family members are connected by blood and cannot be separated. Nothing can replace family bonds. If a family is not harmonious, even with wealth, happiness will be elusive.

People have different definitions of success, but a harmonious and happy family is a form of success. Only with family harmony can everything else run smoothly.

Kuichi Kimura once said: “A family should be a sanctuary of love, joy, and laughter.”

In real life, this holds true because love is the foundation of a home.

Lack of Harmony Between Spouses

Karl Marx once said: “A marriage without love is an immoral marriage, and a marriage based solely on love is an unrealistic one.”

Marriage is different from dating; it involves the mundane aspects of life. When you truly settle into daily life, you’ll realize that many things need to be tackled together as a couple.

When spouses are united, a family thrives. Conflicts between spouses are inevitable, but hurting the relationship over trivial matters is not worth it. Coming together in marriage is fate and a blessing carried over from past lives.

Marriage is not easy; cherish it. Even the closest of relationships have disagreements. The key is to resolve them. There’s no need for lingering grudges between spouses. Holding onto anger only distances you from each other.

When children are ambitious, the family is harmonious, and spouses are united, life becomes more prosperous. These are the three most crucial aspects of a family. Harmony brings wealth. A family that excels in these areas is not far from prosperity.

I hope everyone can understand these principles early on. Bringing a family together is no easy task. With care and effort, a family can blossom beautifully.
